A Hutcherson Construction Design Consultant is a professional who specializes in selling decking and siding products and services to clients in the exterior construction industry. Their primary role in this outside sales position is to generate revenue by building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.

Manage and grow existing clients, along with organic leads provided by the Business Development team.
Generate leads and identify potential clients through various channels such as networking events and referrals.
Present, promote and sell products/services, using Hutcherson Construction’s established selling process, to existing and prospective clients to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
Conduct site visits to gather information and meet with clients to assess their needs and preferences.
Establish and maintain sufficient product knowledge to provide product demonstrations and technical expertise for clients.
Provide accurate information and solutions to clients based on their specific needs.
Prepare quotes and negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and prepare sales proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and production to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, new products, and competitor activities.
Travel as applicable to trade shows or events, demonstrating products to prospects to gain new clients.
Participate in professional development and product training as applicable.
